About Labas Noras

A family-cared forest space for rest, cultural learning, mindful practice and community gatherings.

Milda - ethnologist, museum director and keeper of living traditions

Milda is a mother of three, an ethnologist and a guardian of living Lithuanian traditions. She spent many years organizing cultural events in Švenčionėliai and is now the director of Nalšia Museum.

Her life is closely connected with Lithuanian culture, craft and spiritual tradition. She weaves, spins, ties straw gardens, sings sutartinės and plays kanklės and violin. Through voice, music, handwork and deep cultural memory, she brings old traditions into present-day life.

At Labas Noras, Milda invites guests into meaningful contact with Lithuanian culture, nature, song, craft, warmth and shared presence.
